Frame & Truss Fabricator

About the role
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications
- Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble timber components
- Operate machinery such as saws, nail guns, and drills
- Measure and mark timber accurately
- Quality control of completed work
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge in timber fabrication techniques and industry trends
About you
Ideally you have experience as a Frame and Truss Fabricator or have worked as a hammerhand or labourer. You’ll have knowledge of timber materials, tools, and equipment and have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (or be willing to learn how to). You’ll have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and enjoy working as part of a team. You’ll be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment and show a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
